This small, stunning 20th century Syrian dowry chest is a beautiful and unique piece of furniture.
It was hand-produced with excellent craftsmanship using mother of pearl inlays and intricate latticework sides by the artisans in Aleppo, Syria.
The chest has a panel that lifts out inside the box so that smaller items can be stored on the top.
It can be used for its intended use as a dowry chest, or as a jewelry or keepsake box.
